Being able to talk about self harm is important... The fear about that often stems from a belief that it causes it...that is a myth. The cause is unprocessed emotions and trauma. ❤️

1

Do you find it challenging voicing your emotions? Chris Tuck and I speak about this in this episode of our podcast Breaking The Cycle To StepForward ❤️

As part of our recovery options, for chronic fatigue, M.E and fibromyalgia, we can refer you to other specialist practitioners including nutritionists. Physical, Mental (neurological) and emotional health are all interconnected, hence your thyroid health is important ❤️

Understanding what happens in our body is important and having an awareness enables choice especially when at times we hadn't realised. Let us know how you listen to your podcast and we will send you a link ❤️

I could talk about the neural anatomy and how it is your brain that hears and sees not your ears and eyes... Why is this important to know? When we cut our finger it's our brain that triggers the pain responses not our finger .... And this is where we are able to start understanding about chronic pain and fatigue with the connection with learned neural responses to stress and or Trauma and the physical outcomes.... Can talk about this for days as our bodies are built for survival. This is something we discuss on the podcast Breaking The Cycle To StepForward which you can find on all platforms. Receiving Feedback from Clients is highly valued and important in ensuring that we are acknowledging both their process and how we are accountable, in their Recovery pathway Forward.

Often when we have experienced deep trauma a way of coping is isolation and being unable to verbalise or recognise the impact. It's by being able to read, watch or listen to understand, educate and part of healing and recovery, other experiences or impact physicaly, mentally (neurologically) & Emotionally, to realise that there are options available and also most importantly you are not alone. Anger, guilt, shame and fear are normal and valid emotions which when we are unable to acknowledge and release, can have major impact in our lives. Our podcasts #breakingthecycletostepforward are 30 minutes ish of authentic conversation, from Lived Experience and professional perspective, with myself Beverley Ann and Chris Tuck. Do you prefer listening to podcasts, reading or watching videos? ❤️
